Learning about Kolachy, Counting in Czech, and Polka Music!
Mrs. Westall's Grandma and Mom taught us how to make kolachy.
Mrs. Westall's Grandma also taught us how to count to 10 in Czech!
We were so lucky to have Mr. Novotny play the concertina for us
and Mrs. Westall's Uncle, Mike Sticha, play the drums for us
on our Dozinky Celebration Day! They played great polka songs for us!!
We even got to try out our polka skills for some of their music selections.
